About Let's go Will. A Novel

Our Vision

Let’s Go, Will, Co-Authored  by Jordan Lott, follows a demobilised soldier walking from London to Aberdeen and back down the east coast in search of his wife and his lost identity. Along the way, he passes through real villages and hears the stories of ordinary people rebuilding their lives after the Great War.

“As our grandparents’ generation fades, so too do the living memories of Britain’s greatest hours defending our freedom,” says Jordan.

“This project is about gathering those voices and passing them on to the next generation.”

The author is inviting residents, historical societies, church groups, and community organisations to contribute:

  • Family stories from 1914–1925
  • Accounts of returning soldiers
  • Regional dialect words
  • Village legends and traditions

All contributors will be acknowledged in the finished book.

POSTING ORIGINAL DOCUMENTS

SHOULD EMIAL BE UNAVAILABLE PLEASE FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS

If you are not comfortable sending documents by email, your local library can usually help. Most libraries have scanners, and a librarian or volunteer will be happy to assist you in scanning your documents, saving them as electronic files, and sending them by email. This is the preferred method because it protects your original documents, as physical items sent by post can sometimes be damaged or lost during handling and production.

If posting documents is absolutely necessary, please complete the Submission Form with your details, or ask someone to help you fill it in.

In the message section simply write “Please call me.” I will then contact you personally to arrange the safest way for your documents to be sent.

NOTE! No responsibility  is held for original documents sent
